I oversee fundraising, finance, project and partnership work and jointly manage site development and health and safety. I’ve been working with children, young people and families in Sheffield communities for over 20 years, and joined the playground in 2022. The best part of my job is that no work day is ever the same and I love the strong community spirit here at the playground. Away from work I love being at home with my cats, going out dancing with friends and having adventures in hot places.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I couldn’t more delighted as to where my journey in life has transported me. I have a background of working alongside children. I’m passionate about the great outdoors and all aspects of nature combined with my love of art and thoroughly enjoy exploring all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spending my days now are spent amongst a wonderfully diverse and caring community , where together with our multi skilled team we support and help facilitate the children during their play experience.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m Zaqer Mused and come from a Yemeni background and play worker at the Pitsmoor Adventure Playground for over 18 years now! I am passionate about loose parts, inclusivity, spontaneity in children\u2019s play, unorganised chaos and all things colourful!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m Julius Turner I\u2019ve been a playworker for over 20 years working on adventure playgrounds and in other play settings. I am passionate about all things play and love to smile my way through the day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’m Marek, I’m a casual playworker at Pitsmoor Adventure
Playground. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid,
volunteered from the age of 14, and now I’m working here.
You’ll often see me getting chased\u00a0by groups of children
or enjoying a sword fight!

Outside the playground, I’m a gamer, work at the\u00a0Sheffield
Youth Cabinet Council, A-level student and a tinkerer of many
things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
